In early October, you might be lucky enough to witness one of the most amazing sights in America, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, where hundreds of hot air balloons paint the sky. The month of April holds the Gathering of Nations Pow-Wow, where 3,000 indigenous Native American dancers and singers representing over 500 tribes perform, and in September you can catch the excitement of the New Mexico State Fair.
